Quartertones Mixtape: March '24

March Quartertones Mixtape was compiled by one of the oldest afikra community members, the ultra-talented @djamenra (aka Ramy Abou El Oyoun). He introduces us to Egyptian sounds and artists we should have on our radar. The first half of the playlist focuses on the instrumental side of the producers featured: "You can really get a feel for what the artists are trying to convey without a word being spoken." In the second half, Ramy highlights some of his favorite hip-hop artists, and each has a unique voice and a sound of their own.
