The afikra podcast network started off with our flagship series, The afikra Podcast, and grew to a collection with a variety of podcast series that zoom further in on disciplines including music, film, TV, theater, literature, food culture, design and more, some of which are in collaboration with institutions that are helping shape the culture and future narratives of the Arab world.

In its early days, Daftar was a journal for everything that comes out of the conversations we have at afikra that go unarchived, unexplored and unshared. It has turned into a full-fledged platform with thought-provoking essays and exclusive interviews that explore the Arab world's histories and cultures.
