Kareem Roustom is a Syrian-American composer, musical director and university teacher whose music is multifaceted, contemporary and genre-crossing. Over his career, he’s collaborated with Daniel Barenboim and the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, created arrangements for Shakira and Tina Turner, to name a few.
He has been nominated for an Emmy a number of times for his documentary and narrative scores for films presented at festivals such as Sundance, Cannes, and Tribeca.
