Music From Sudan

A superb mixtape celebrating old and new tunes from Sudan, compiled by our very own Khaled Malas who you know from the afikra Community team.

If you love the mixtape artwork as much as we did, you can get it on a T-shirt. We were inspired by the inaugural issue of the Journal of Sudanese Folklore, published in 1983 by the students of the Department of Folkloric Studies at the Institute of African and Asian Studies at Khartoum University. We discovered a copy of it via the awesome Vatrina Bookstore.

Like the artwork on our Sudan mixtape? Wear an afikra remix of it on an oversized tan or charcoal T-shirt!
