afikra Presenter Workshop - Nov 14

  • You will receive the zoom link in the confirmation email.  (map)

afikra is all about asking questions and exploring something new.

We host free presenting workshops every two weeks to help folks prepare a new afikra presentation.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you have an idea in mind already or not, that shouldn’t stop you. Whether public speaking is your least or most favorite thing, come on by.

All you need is some curiosity and a love for learning & sharing new things.

Remember:
1. afikra presentations are always related to the histories or cultures of the Arab world.
2. We don’t expect you to be an expert, in fact, we hope that you are taking the opportunity to learn something new.
3. The presentation cannot promote an agenda, business, or opinion.
4. You will receive lots of support from the afikra team to make sure you feel successful throughout the whole process.

This event is being videotaped for subsequent broadcast on the library website and other media. The audience is encouraged to offer comments and raise questions during the formal question and answer period, but please be advised that your voice and image may be recorded and later broadcast as part of this event. By participating in the question and answer period you are consenting to the possible reproduction and transmission of your remarks.
