Bio: Reem Al Thani graduated from RISD in 2015 with a Masters in Design (MDes) in Adaptive Reuse Interior Architecture and a double major in Interior Design, and Fashion Design from VCUQatar in 2010. Reem is a multidisciplinary designer who works on activation of space through a human approach to design. Her thesis explores the ways socio-cultural methods of integration can influence architecture, using the water tower built form as a catalyst for connection in fragmented cities or communities. She is now the Director of Exhibitions at Qatar Museums and is responsible for design and production of all temporary and permanent exhibitions for all affiliated museums and exhibition venues locally and internationally.

Engineer Abdullatif Mohamed Al Jasmi is the Director of the Cultural Heritage Protection Department at Qatar Museums, the manager of the Qatar Cultural Heritage Law Project and of the Director of the Qatar-Sudanese Archaeological Project.  Since joining QM in 2019, Abdullatif oversees heritage activation projects and the rubric for adaptive reuse of cultural spaces.  He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Math and Spanish, in addition to several qualifications in strategic management, project management, and heritage preservation. Abdullatif has a recognized proficiency in project and target management, budgeting, planning, and legal research, and he is well versed on international heritage laws, conventions and treaties.  He started out his career in the energy sector with Qatar Petroleum managing offshore projects, then joined Amiri Diwan to oversee service delivery and administrative affairs before finally moving to Qatar Museums to oversee the delivery the new Cultural Heritage Law and gradually expanded into his current role.  In addition to his duties, Abdullatif also serves as a member in the Tender Committee for QM, as Board Member for IN-Q Enterprises, and as a Chair to the Tender Sub-Committee for IN-Q.  Abdullatif has participated in many seminars both locally and internationally in the field of cultural heritage protection,  development, management and promotion.

The Liwan, Design Studios & Labs department at Qatar Museums assists with developing content, visuals and detailed plans for social media announcements. Additionally, they work on planning related events, programs and activities.
