I idolize my Teta Widad, and one of my favorite childhood memories was hanging out in my her room while she gets ready. I would always watch her, and one of the last things she would do was take out this packet of gum from her drawer and give me one and take the other piece. I became obsessed with this gum, especially with the flavor of it and nostalgia it has behind it for me. As I got older I realized the taste of this gum was in a lot of different things that I would eat. Why is it in so many different things, and where does it come from?!
