From Oxford to Hollywood (and the Theatrical Landscape in Egypt) | Rosaline Elbay

We talked to Rosaline Elbay about her career as an Egyptian actor and writer. Rosaline is best known for her roles as Amani on Hulu/A24 Films series Ramy and as Sara on MBC Masr series Qabeel.

Rosaline read Classics at Oxford University and completed a master's in Colonial History. She then studied at the Actors Studio New York City with Elizabeth Kemp and obtained her MFA in Acting from LAMDA. She is a critically acclaimed actor and writer who has been featured in productions in both the Middle East, Europe, and UK.
