Rebuilding Heritage: Sursock Museum's Resilience in the Wake of Beirut's Devastation | Zeina Arida

We had an important conversation with the Director of Sursock Museum, Zeina Arida on the museum’s history and work, as well as the challenges facing the museum after being hit with the disastrous explosion of August 4th in Beirut Port.

Zeina Arida’s career in the Lebanese cultural sector spans over twenty years. She held various positions such as the director of the Arab Image Foundation (AIF), board member of the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC), and a member of the Prince Claus Fund Network Partner Committee. She has also been a member of Beit Beirut’s Scientific Committee since 2010.
